PA Christmas - Day at the park, Amish Country, and Hershey

We lucked out with beautiful weather on our trip, and we tried to make the most of it and let the kids enjoy some sun.  The day after Christmas we headed over to the new playground at Faustown park.  I love this picture of Mom and the kids!  Everyone had a lot of fun.
Playing a little football - in short sleeves even!
Ready for a ride home with Grandpa!
Later that day, we finally made gingerbread houses.  Of course for my kids it was mostly about trying to pack on as much candy as possible!
Owen was happy to just decorate a graham cracker. :)
Nathan and the girls impressed us all with their train!
All the finished products...  ( I have to admit, making these are not my favorite thing, so I was glad to have it over with!)
The next day was our Amish Country and Hershey day!  I always look forward to visiting Amish country.  It's so beautiful and the Amish culture is fascinating.
We stopped off at a little farmer's market and then made our way to everyone's favorite town, Intercourse!  (David's face here is classic!)
Heather and her family had joined us the night before, so all the cousins got to be together!  Here they all are at the park at Kitchen Kettle Village.

Cute little goats.
I love this sibling pic with Colby's sweet face poking out!

The whole Toone clan!  What a group!

 Enjoying the view.
We ate lunch at the Immergut Pretzel restaurant there in Intercourse.  It was delicious!  (I love this mother-daughter pic!)
After Amish Country we went to Chocolate World in Hershey and the Candylane Christmas at the park.  It's always so cool to see the streetlights as we drive into town.
It was freezing cold and really crowded in the park, but the kids had fun all the same.

PA Christmas - Christmas Day!

We had a magical Christmas morning in PA!  Owie didn't know what was waiting for him.
But the other kids sure did!  What a cute Grandma pic!
They all got the things on their wish lists, and a little bit more...  (Lucky kiddos!)

Matt had been asking for a Kindle the whole year long, and Santa finally delivered!  (This pic's blurry, but I love his big smile!)
Goofy smile!

Owen probably would have been just fine with his snacks alone. :)
Happy chaos!
My present to Ari - a new baby doll!
Owen's present from Uncle Nate and Aunt Allison - the cutest little sword set ever!
We totally surprised Bryan with his first real camera!
The boys bought Ari and Grandpa their own soccer balls. :)

Check out these cool foam swords that Nathan made!  Perfect for the boys!

Spain socks for David...
Cereal for me...  What more could we want?! ;)
Dad got some especially awesome gifts!
It's not a complete Christmas morning unless Dad and Mom tear up at some point.  I think Nathan and his kiddos made it happen with their cute homemade photo book...
And then Dad surprised Mom with a new wedding band, something she had wanted for him for years!  Way to go, Dad!
Cute Colby in his Santa suit!
Just hanging around the tree...
We stopped at some point to have a yummy Christmas breakfast with breakfast casserole!  What else?!
The rest of the day was spent relaxing and playing with new toys!  It was a wonderful, happy day!
