Things about Matty

I've decided I need to start writing down some of the things I've learned about Matty in the last 6 weeks. It's not much, as his personality is still unfolding, but it's fun to see recurring patterns in his behavior.

He does NOT like David's singing voice! He makes his "I'm not happy" face and starts crying whenever David starts singing. =)
He grabs hold of his hair on top and pulls when he's mad or frustrated.
When he's crying in his carseat/carrier, all we have to do is swing it back and he freezes. Mom says it's stimulation overload that shuts a baby down. Whatever it is, it's good for calming him in desperate situations!
He loves watching the big picture of Christ in our living room - whether it's the contrast of the frame and the matting or the fact that it's the Savior, I don't know. But it's still cute.
He sleeps much better at night when he's swaddled up tight (typical of most newborns).
He's not too crazy about pacifiers, which I'm not sure is a good or bad thing...
He doesn't like getting undressed, but he does seems to enjoy taking a bath!
He likes watching ceiling fans.
He loves being held!

Matty's one month old!

Wow, what a month! Matty hit his one-month mark this last week and I can only say I'm glad we've survived these last few weeks. =) Things are starting to settle down a little, and Matty's getting cuter and cuter as the days go by. Mom was here for three weeks and was SOOO much help! Bryan loved having the attention, and I loved having the company and extra hands. We really miss having her with us. Still, we seem to be doing okay on our own. I've found that the more attention I give Bryan, the better things go. =) Anyway, here are pics of the last month going from oldest to most recent... There are lots!
